January 10
A special night of music with Ed Sloat and Steve Bodinet with guest musicians.

Ed and Steve will be joined on-stage by out-of-town guest musicians Sue Broudy and Art Siegel, both traveling from the New England area for the specific reason of playing at The Music Corner.
Sue has been a professional singer for over 15 years and has toured all over the country with an award-winning a cappella group called “From The Edge”. Most recently she has been performing in the New England region with “3 Chicks Who Sing” presenting a powerful show entitled “The Power of Love”. Sue provides a wonderful sultry and accessible voice that is at home with Jazz, folk, and folk rock. Sue and her husband have four children and live in Weston, CT.
Art is an original renaissance man. He is a musician, an attorney, a potter, a coffee roaster, and community leader in the Albany, NY area where he and his wife reside with their two grown children. Art has been playing bass guitar since he was 14 years old and has been a life-long student of improvisational jazz and rock.

David Baumann and Barbara Herber

Dave Baumann and Barbara Herber make wonderful music together as a duet or amid other musical configurations such as the Improbable Quartet. Whether they are performing old time tunes by The Carter Family or or covering contemporary "Americana" artists, their vocal harmonies and instrumentation are outstanding. They certainly enjoy what they do and they do it well.

Eric Laubach

Eric Laubach has been performing music for over 40 years on guitar and piano with the occasional blues harmonica to support his vocals. His playlist is a mixture of blues, covers, traditional classics, holiday tunes and originals. Eric makes his guitars sing and the piano comes alive as his hands make contact. It's fascinating to watch and incredible to hear. He is also an accomplished songwriter with over 60 songs to his credit. Many of his songs describe his travels and life stories dedicated to honor a person, place or memory.

Larry Jensen

In November, 2007, Larry responded to God's call to begin writing Christian themed songs. Since then, he and his wife, Naomi, have written more than a dozen songs filled with the spirit of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The fall of 2008 saw the debut CD "HEAR ME" released. "It has been a labor of love writing, composing and recording this album", according to Jensen.

Steve Decker

Steve Decker grew up in small towns from Page to Hayden. He had plenty of time to ride a horse or hike around the hills, collecting rocks, lizards and enjoying Arizona's back country. At some point in his wandering, he picked up the guitar and never put it down. He enjoys playing old standards, good old country songs and rock and pop from the Drifters to the Goo Goo Dolls. This wide variety of musical styles makes it hard to fit his original music into a pigeonhole. Most of his songs tell a story or look at the world through the eyes of uncommon people.

Rob Anderson

Rob Anderson is a member of SOV's contemporary worship team playing lead guitar and singing. He has been playing guitar and covering many pop and rock artists for many years. Enjoys playing music from the 60's and 70's as well as some of the oldies but goodies by the Beatles and beyond.
Malcolm Harris

Greg Lacosse
Greg Lacosse began his music career in the mid-1960's in Chicago performing with blues and rock bands and eventually formed one of Chicago's first country rock bands. Later he embarked on a solo career and became part of Chicago's folk scene. Many of his songs have a distinctive Irish twinge which he picked up from the Irish Pubs in Chicago. It also works well with many of his country and railroad songs which evolved out of songs from Ireland.
